FAQ

What's the initial step?

The initial step involves scheduling a complimentary phone consultation. During this call your questions, needs and concerns will be addressed.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to see a therapist at your clinic?

No, we don’t need any medical referral to assist our clients.

How long should I anticipate being in therapy?

The length of therapy differs greatly among clients. Some may find one session sufficient, while others may require ongoing support. Your therapist will assist in setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time specific (SMART) goals. They will provide recommendations regarding the length of treatment, but ultimately, the decision to continue sessions will be yours based on your needs.

Can I purchase session packages at a lower cost?

No. We adhere to the guidelines of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, which consider unethical to offer pre-paid services at a reduced rate. Charges will be charged at the end of each appointment, and you will receive an invoice accordingly.

Do you offer in-person sessions or virtual sessions?

Our therapists offer in-person and virtual sessions. Virtual appointments are conducted using the privacy-compliant client management software “Jane”.
